It was beautiful weather this weekend. I went out with my friends to enjoy the weather which included… SHOPPING!!!! That’s right. We all decided to buy something that we wouldn’t normally. Here’s the catch, you couldn’t pick it… your friends had to. So we went looking for cosmetics and Sue suggested that I try a new cosmetic; a natural cosmetic. It was wonderful. I never would have tried it before but now I am going to use natural products all the time. Oh the natural goodness.

Fashion Rules are Silly

Let’s make fashion up. Why not, right? Who is to say what looks good, what looks terrible, and what should be thrown out. Do the fashionistas have a degree? No… plus fashion is so objective. It is all about what YOU like, what YOU want. Why do we have to follow guidelines, and rules? It sounds a little silly if you reallllly think about it. Because in the end, it’s about HOW YOU feel.

Eyelashes

I think there’s something wrong w/ my eyelashes. They are clumpy, short, and just disgusting looking. How am I supposed to look all cute and made up when my eyelashes suck? Makeup artists know everything, and here I am just uninformed and misguided. Maybe I should make an appt with MAC. Think I will.

I got my school pictures back today. They look absolutely terrible. Terrible cosmetics, terrible hair… what do I do? Retouch, re-do, delete? haha. I dont want my terrible cosmetics in the yearbook…I want to be a makeup artist, after all.

Boy Sleepover and New Pajamas

My parents are going to the Cape for the weekend, so my friends and I decided to have a co-ed sleepover. Yeah, really cool… except I need new pajamas! I also need some nighttime cosmetics…the ones that make you look sexy and a bit dark. I’m sick of looking natural during the day time. It is time to vamp it up and try the grey eyeshadow or black — ones you’d wear to the club.

Makeup Primer

I am desperately in search of a makeup primer that will make my skin look radiant. CVS tends to be on the cheap side. This is great, however, I am looking for something that has more quality. Quality is much better than quantity, in my opinion. I don’t mind spending $20-30+ on it. Would online shopping be best for this?
